Inspired by the pornographic frescos of Pompeii, Italy, “Peepshow” is more than a series capturing the beauty of eroticism. Drawn to the 1970’s 42nd Street New York City sex scene by his photographic aesthetics, Frank took his inquisitive mind and his camera loaded with Kodachrome 64 and simply created. “Peepshow” is erotic and shocking, while simultaneously forbidden and sinful. This play of emotion feeds into the intensity of the work, pumping a pleasure driven culture back to life.
